Task 2: Planning Team for Multi-Jurisdictional Plans

If your community opts for a multi-jurisdictional plan, you need to plan a team structure that allows for accountability and coordination within and among the jurisdictions. In the planning team, each jurisdiction will be represented by at least one envoy. The respective representative will need to gather inputs and feedback for the mitigation plan, and regularly report back to their community. A different model for team planning may include a core group of representatives from each jurisdiction involved in the planning process. The system of representation must be based on the size of each community and the level of efforts needed to determine specific mitigation actions and evaluate unique hazards and risks.
